Details  IAF trainer aircraft force lands in UP, pilot injured

ALLAHABAD: A trainer aircraft of Indian Air Force crash landed in a village in Uttar Pradesh's Koshambi district on Friday after it developed a technical snag, a defence spokesman said here.

The two-seater aircraft, HPT-32 'Deepak', developed a technical snag while landing at the Bamrauli Air Force base forcing the pilot to crash land it near Bhagwatpur village under Pipri police circle, Squadron Leader R K Singh said.

The pilot, Sub Lt Vivek Koman, suffered minor injuries and the plane was partially damaged, he said.

The pilot has been admitted to the Air Force hospital, Singh said, adding that a Court of Enquiry has been constituted to probe the incident.
