Jharkhand's growing population of Warbirds include Iskra W1765, placed outside Jamshedpur Airport.

Jamshedpur is the largest city in the state of  Jharkhand, which was carved out of Bihar. It is a major industrial zone in Eastern India . Jamshedpur is the first planned industrial city of India, founded by Jamshedji Nusserwanji Tata. It is also known as Steel City, TataNagar or simply Tata.

It is home to Sonari Airport, a small airfield equipped to operate light aircraft.  The airport is home to one aircraft on display – a TS-11 Iskra W1765 which was hauled from Hakimpet for display here. It still featured the Hakimpet AFS badge on its nose when it arrived here. The aircraft was placed next to the approach road to the hangar area.

No further information exists as to when and how the Iskra made its way to Jamshedpur.
