This Ajeet was presented by the Eastern Air Command to the Governor's House in Kohima

Kohima (Hindi: कोहिमा) is the hilly capital of India’s north eastern border state of Nagaland which shares its borders with Burma. It lies in Kohima District and is also one of the three Nagaland towns with Municipal council status along with Dimapur and Mokokchung.

The Governor’s house, popularly called Raj Bhavan, is the seat of the office of the Constitutional Head of the State. The State of Nagaland came into existence on 1st December 1963, to become the 16th State in the country. Among special attractions of the Raj Bhavan is the an HAL Ajeet fighter, Serial E2033, presented by the AOC-in-C, Eastern Air Command in 1991. The aircraft is prominently displayed on the high ground near the main gate.
