First reported a few months ago on our page, MiG-21U U3002 is mounted on a pole at the HAL Auditorium in Koraput. The second such MiG reported at the town manufacturing Aero Engines for the Russian aircraft in the IAF Service.
First reported a few months ago on our FB page, MiG-21U U3002 is mounted on a pole at the HAL Auditorium in Koraput. Facebook follower Tony Raheja recently shared a photograph of U3002 on our FB page that shows better details of the aircraft.
The Auditorium is located in Sunabeda town.
U3002 is known to have been put up for display at this location atleast since 2011.

The aircraft was mounted at the location probably around 2003-2004, can’t exactly recall the year now
